Are you an experienced HVAC Manager looking for a company who will help you reach your full potential?  We are currently looking for an HVAC GM/Operations Manager to manage daily operations for an existing leader in the Residential HVAC field. Daily job duties include:

  • Achieve the budgeted gross margin outlined in the Company Business Plan by supervising Technicians, field
  • Regulate equipment and parts usage to achieve budgeted gross margin
  • Manage DMR (Daily Management Reporting) to ensure maximum efficiency in all areas of service by managing ongoing training for the Service Technicians, ensuring their profitability, viability, PNL, and balance sheet
  • Making sure both employee and client concerns are handled immediately
  • Acting as a source of motivation for fellow employees, consistently instilling value in our company mission
  • Ensure training is effectively being used in the field by overseeing ride alongs, webinars, online training, etc.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to help Technicians be successful in the field and their daily operations
  • Ensure that all jobs are performed with the highest quality and that all permits are pulled and inspected as local code requires
  • Manage the dispatching of all service and scheduled service calls to ensure maximum efficiency of scheduling without compromising client satisfaction
  • Continually and aggressively recruit new, top-notch Technicians
  • Make sure that all production personnel comply with OSHA safety policies
  • Assist in implementation of new software programs as needed

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is NATE, OSHA, CPR, EPA certified
  • Has a valid Electrical license
  • Has valid Refrigeration certification
  • Has proven, verifiable Residential & Commercial Experience
  • Has prior, verifiable experience as a Service Technician and was promoted to Operations Manager in the HVAC residential industry
  • Has strong customer service skills and is willing to communicate with customers on a daily basis
